Tubbataha Reef - PHILIPPINES
Tubbataha Reef is an atoll coral reef in the Sulu Sea that belongs to the Philippines. It is a marine sanctuary protected as Tubbataha Reef National Marine Park. The reef is composed of two atolls, North and South Reefs. Each reef has a single small islet that protrudes from the water. The atolls are separated by a deep channel 8 kilometers wide. Over one thousand species, including many that are endangered, can be found at on the reef. These include manta rays, lionfish, tortoises, clownfish and sharks.

"Premyo sa Resibo" (PSR) is a text-raffle project undertaken by The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) in support of The Bureau of Internal Revenue's (BIR) efforts to plug leakages in the tax collection system.

The Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), a US government-owned corporation. The grant is administered by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by Management Systems International.

Under the Program, Ms. Rose R.Amper, (RATE Technical/Administrative Assistant) and BIR-RDC Staff came to RD 14, Bayombong on 13th March 2008

MWF Group Initiative

Saint Mary’s University held its recognition program for Academic Excellence for the first semester, S.Y. 2007-2008 at the Fr. Tonus Gymnasium, Saint Mary’s University, July 24, 2007.

The awardees for this semester include 15 full-tuitional academic scholars, 96 half-tuitional academic scholars, 99 full- tuitional enctance scholars, 37 half-tuitional entrance scholars, 3 service grantees and 361 deans' listers.

Dr. Nerissa Cruz-Agraam, the Revenue District Officer of the Bureau of Internal revenue was there to give her inspirational message to the students.

The bigger portion of the national government revenues is generated by the BIR and has increased from 70.88% (Php260.774 Billion/Php367.894 Billion) in 1996 to 78.34% (Php542.697 Billion/Php692.779 Billion) in 2005 as published in the 2005 BIR Annual Report.
